If you’re heading out for a walk through Knepp Wildland or returning from the trails, a slice of homemade cake and organic, artisan coffee is the perfect way to pause and enjoy a rest in the open air.
Our Airstream Café is located in the beautiful open-air courtyard of the Knepp Wilding Kitchen & Shop – perfect for walkers who just want a quick bite and a sit-down.
Through winter we’re serving toasties, homemade soups, cookies, cakes and hot and cold drinks. We also serve babyccinos and hot chocolate for the little (and not-so-little) ones – and a range of dog treats!
Throughout summer, we offer a selection of fresh sandwiches, light snacks, cookies, cakes, and hot & cold drinks.
The courtyard provides outdoor seating all year round, with bike racks, drinking water taps, and troughs for dogs, so everyone from walkers to cyclists can recharge in comfort. Don’t miss our automatic dog wash outside the Wilding Shop to save your car boot from muddy mutts.
Winter – Saturday and Sunday, 10-4pm
Summer – Daily, 10-4pm
Also open Boxing Day when the Wilding Kitchen (but not the Shop) is closed.
For those who prefer to sit inside, coffee, tea, cakes and fresh pastries are served in the Wilding Kitchen restaurant from 9am-11am and 3pm-4pm (i.e outside lunch service) every day of the week.
A special Walkers’ menu, featuring homemade soup and toasties is available Monday to Friday, 11am-4pm as a simple, ‘on the hoof’ alternative to our à la carte menu.
