Rachel is our Campsite and Shop Manager. Having studied Biology at University, followed by a Masters in Biodiversity and Conservation, Rachel is passionate about nature and wildlife.
She’s studied bats in the Costa Rican rainforest, mammals in Kenya, and uses her holidays to explore new wild places (including Tasmania and India). She’s practical too; her previous job was as Assistant Reserves Officer with Sussex Wildlife Trust.
In her spare time (when she’s not playing netball) she’s looking for wildlife on walks and horse rides.
"I’m so excited to be involved in such a famous conservation project as Knepp. Running the Wildland Campsite is a wonderful way of sharing what we’re doing here. It’s a great place to unwind and soak up the atmosphere of the wildlife all around you. I love walking around the campsite at night hearing the buzz of conversation around campfires underneath a star filled sky."
