Rina Quinlan

Rina is an aspiring writer, explorer and conservation scientist currently studying towards a degree in Environmental Science & Ecology. She works part-time for the Forestry Commission in Sussex and Kent.

Rina has spent time living in Borneo and trekking throughout Asia. But more recently, her fascination with ecosystem restoration has seen her travelling throughout the UK and in Europe, learning about rewilding projects.

She also volunteers on the Pine Marten Recovery Project with the Vincent Wildlife Trust in Wales and local conservation projects in Sussex.

"Growing up in Sussex, I have enjoyed many encounters with nature in this beautiful county but none as spectacular as when I am spending time at Knepp. The Re-wilding project here gives an incredible insight into how our wildlife can flourish when left to the hands of nature and it is so exciting that a project of this scale can be created in South East England."
